For a while now the touchscreen on the dashboard has displayed the emergency operating system, but not all the time - Sometimes it works as it should. However, when the emergency OS comes up, there is a button in the bottom right that says exit, but this does not do anything. I can still scroll through the panel on the left so am unsure why the exit button doesn't work, or why the emergency OS comes up in the first place.

I have searched around online but cannot find anything related to this error code so any help here would be hugely appreciated. I have attached pictures to illustrate the problem.

The car is a 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 XS with automatic gearbox.

There is also a fix in there but I don't know if this will work on a Freelander 2 screen.
