I have a 2007 HSE and have recently noticed that whist driving I hear a quiet ringing tone on the Alpine audio system. This occurs both when in FM radio mode and in CD mode.

Bluetooth is activated paired with my iPhone but these are not incoming calls to my phone and do not indicate as such on the phone, they generally last for 4-5 rings and do not activate the vehicles hands free mode.

At first I thought it may have been a broadcast issue with Radio 2 but perhaps not as it is also evident when listening to a CD.

Any ideas?

Is it the same ring tone your phone produces or is it the cars inbuilt ring tones.? MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

It’s definitely not the tone produced by the phone, but a quieter version of the cars inbuilt ring tone?

Bit of a weird one, never heard of that happening before. Try going into settings and changing ring tone so it's your phone ring tone and not the built-in ring tone. It should be compatible with your iPhone to do that. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
