Defective headlight

Greetings to the whole community.
For some days now, the left headlight of my 2008 FL 2 TD4 has been experiencing this strange behavior: when the vehicle is switched on, the headlight comes on regularly. When I start the car, the headlight goes out. Could you explain to me this strange behavior of the left headlight?
Thanks to everyone who will answer me.

I take it you have swapped the globe with the other side to rule out electrical connection. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I recently cleaned the injectors and removed the air filter housing. Otherwise, I have not touched anything in the left headlight box.

This could probably be it. I did not check. I'll do it in the day.

Xenon headlight to be replaced ...
Do you have any suggestions for purchasing xenon headlights? Obviously I change them both together.

Xenon HIDs?

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07QYS7YV...&psc=1

Car Rover as brand, I have used before with no issues for 5 years+. The amazing price, the performance and the quality of their lights meet my standards and I live rural so headlights, fog lights, etc. are very important to me. In addition, the customer service of this Amazon seller is very good.

Look for the UK/Italian Amazon equivalent.

I bought these xenon lamps.
Excellent value for money. And they are well made, with a beautiful light.
