They are a good speciality oil company with obviously modest R&D (compared to the big boys) but lower costs too.

I have used Millers Diesel Power Plus (1 cc per litre of fuel) for ages in order to be sure of good lubricity with low-Sulphur Diesel as well as a little plus from the 2 Cetane number increase in combustability. I also use Millers Classic oils in my Series 3 as Duckhams 20-50 is hard to find and old engines are best on old-spec oil with modern additives, likewise old gearbox/axles need the right oil.

There is a Plus 4 fuel additive for vehicles with DPF, I think, and it has (as it says) a 4-Cetane increase for the GTD types.

I use Castrol Edge 5W-30 in my Td4, by the way Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
