Well, I got back to the Spanish Overland (Todo Terreno) LR club about my decision not to get a Defender or Disco, which were the ones they were recommending as the only proper LR models for 4x4.

Stick some larger tyres on the car & let the pressure down for off road & that will solve 90% of issues.

That's a great testimony to the car and your skills! It's also an example of prejudices against those doing something different. If that trip is within the capabilities of the FL2, then that's probably enough for me. I'm not into extreme 4x4 trialing, probably something related to age!! Thanks again for the information. Makes car and model choice easier! |
