That's the most sensible way to buy according to some experts. Pay cash, avoid credit, and get the car when it's taken its first depreciation hit and then keep it a good few years. I'm definitely going to buy for cash, but can't afford a 2-year old car. I can't believe the price difference between the UK and the continent. A real bummer. I suppose it's supply and demand.
