United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey
Reverse sensors

Have recently bought a Freelander 2 for the wife noticed it has reverse sensors fitted but they don’t work. They beep through radio when ignition turned on but don’t operate in reverse.
I can only find things referring to front and rear sensors which this only has rear. There is a fuse in place at fb2 which is fine and has 12v.

Any ideas?

sure someone will come along soon with better advice, but...
the sensors do not like being jet washed so one may have died. also the wiring loom where it plugs into the main loom is susceptible to water. any fault with the system gives one long beep and then it doesn't work - better none than a false sense of security.
decent diagnostics will save you hours of searching and quite a lot of money, because swapping parts to find a fault gets expensive very quickly. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
