just having a look on fleabay to see if I could pick up a spare wheel with a wrangler tyre on same as I have on mine (17")

and Amazed at what some people try to sell as "Tyre never used Excellent condition"

it has a DOT code for 45 week 2002
so its 17 years old and has the Biggest splits and cracks on the sidewalls and between the tread

I know its Buyer Beware but prehaps its advertised in ignorance what do you think

Yes, that's the fantastic Michelin Synchrone that was on the FL1. They were a brilliant tyre that Michelin stopped making - The reason being that they were lasting 60,000 miles and thus a long time and thus showed the UV cracking long before they wore out! My missus has one on the back of FL1 that is the original 2006 tyre but, because it is always covered, it does not have the UV damage the one on eBay does. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green

At £45 or best offer that’s very good for the alloy alone! I think people forget that ebay take 10% and Paypal 3.4% fee.

As buying anything used we have to be vigilant BUT the tyre can be 6 months old and have 4 puncture repairs on it which may have been done by the previous owner...
