Replacing Front Suspension
Hey folks, new here but decided to tap into some expertise.
Last year I replaced the rear shocks on my '57 Freelander 2 SE. Needless to say after buying the shocks I realised I needed to buy new bump stops/dampers/brake line holders/anti-squeak pads/gators and a whole plethora of things to go with it, so it ended up being more costly than I figured it would.
This time round I need to do the front end, trouble is I bought the front shocks in April last year, so my question is, what else do I need to buy to renew the lot on that end? I'm not bothering with changing the coils, the girl doesn't do much millage anymore, and it's mostly freshly laid new motorway anyways for now.
I've attached a list of stuff I think I'll need, but some more hands on expert guidance would be great. I need to tighten the rear end anyways, fit new hand brake shoes and cables, have the water pump/timing belt done, but I've bought all that last year too, so once I've got everything in the garage I'll be taking her down to an actual garage, I just don't have the time to spend doing it myself anymore sadly.
Thanks in advance.

Recently did my front shocks. Apart from the shocks all I needed to do were the front coil spring mount pads. About 4 quid each from Duckworths IIRC. I think they're in my gallery pics.
Everything else just swapped over, including nuts and stuff.
YMMV.

Sounds good to me mate. I tried hunting for them but can't seem to locate where to buy them from anymore after managing to buy them last year for the rear end.
