Turbo / DPF failure

Hi all, my MY13 freelander 2 went into limo mode a few weeks back. Took it to the garage who said the computer was showing the MAP and MAF sensors failed. They then said the turbo has also failed. So far all sensors and turbo my bill stands at £1800. But they have today rang and said that it’s not right and that they think the DPF needs replacing as it most likely failed which caused the turbo to Coke up.

Does this sound normal? Seems like a lot to have happened without a single warning front he car until it went into limp mode.

Any assistance greatly appreciated as the costs are spiralling with so far no fix!
