2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red

Road tax

As some of you guys know I’m getting rid of my Freelander, road tax is due on the first of September and I need to use the car for my holidays until the 22nd September.
Can I set the road tax up as a DD then cancel after a month as the car will be moving on in one way or another. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Pay in full on credit card (no extra charge if it's a personal cc) then SORN just before end of the month and get the refund by post from DVLA.

You can also set up direct debit which would allow you to pay only for the month that you need, then cancel it, saves shelling out the full price and waiting for a refund. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
