New FL2 owner - 2007 TD4 HSE with 216k

Hi all,

We've had a bit of a swap around of cars at home, and I decided to buy something cheap as a 2nd car, but wanted somethig with all the goddles, and comfortable. I remembered how nice the FL2 was when it was launched and so started looking for one.

I got this quite cheap, new MOT and loads of work done through the last few years, and really impressed how well it drives for a 216k mile car.

On the 150 mile drive home it felt really taught and no interior rattles or vibrations, but it does have a couple of issues that I need to sort out.

- I think the Haldex may need some work as it seems to skip a bit on full lock (it had a replcement unit around 55k miles ago).
- The rear diff has a slight whine, although only hear it at slow speeds.
- in higher gears (5th/6th), when using the torque at lower revs (1500-2000) you can hear a slight knock. I thought it was the flywheel, but appears to be coming from further back (Haldex / drive shaft??)
- Parking sensors dont work. I'm hoping once ive plugged it in it will show a bad sensor thats disabled the whole system.... fingers crossed!

It averages 35mpg on the way home which I was quite impressed with considering the higher speeds, so im assuming the transmission issue above probably arent taking too much power away, and it feels pretty sprightly.

Uploaded a few photos, they make it look immaculate but it os going to need some DA action at some point.
Also needs a gear knob and gaitor as they look a bit worn.
