Probably a faulty sensor. In the meantime you can turn the volume on the sensor.

Nice one thanks, it’s strange as they work as they should when parking. How do I turn the front one down?

Not sure if your screen is the same as mine, MY2015. I can call up volume presets for satnav, phone sensors etc.

I recall seeing a thread here recently about sensors and jet washing having a detrimental effect on them. Think they’re quite cheap to replace. Try the search function. There’s probably a lot there.
