Also regularly clean the three pairs of drainage holes in the scuttle. They are too small and are easily clogged. I poke a flexible cable tie down them every week and that does the job.

The scuttle is the bit between the back of the bonnet and the windscreen. Where the wiper spindles are mounted on most cars including the Freelander! Thumbs Up

The drainage holes are located on the extreme right, next to the wiper spindle on a RHD car and extreme left and in the centre by the other wiper spindle.
