does the fl 2 2013 sd4 have a crankcase filter ?

It almost certainly has an oil separator as part of the PCV system if that is what you mean by "filter". The TD4 definitely has an oil separator page 1132 in the JLR workshop manual.

I would have thought all modern ICE vehicles do. Jules

Perhaps you are thinking about the renewable filter that the Freelander 1 TD4 had? That was a BMW engine and is completely different from the Freelander 2 TD4/SD4 engine which is Peugeot/Ford based. Thumbs Up

thanks for the feedback, i wrongly assumed that it was still the bmw engine in the fl2. if it does not have crankcase filter then i can't change it. thanks again.Johnnie
