Baffled

Hi all been through the 'search' area but cannot find what I'm after...
Driving through lane just now and *gearbox fault Traction reduced* on screen with triangle up top corner comes up and no illumination on TR buttons!!
Couple hundred yards from home so no drama but just gone back out restarted and it's gone?? Drove back and fro a bit on my drive but nothing?
Brand new battery, no oil underneath, lights back on TR button.

Car still under warranty. Any advice greatly received.

Sheep If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

I would start by disconnecting the battery for a while for a hard reset.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

I had a similar one-off a good three years ago but on an earlier model (MY2009)... and as suggested by SYFL2 above left the battery disconnected to reset everything and sure enough, never saw that happen again... the local JLR dealer found no fault codes either. All I had to do was reset the windows after...

Hopefully yours will be the same... whatever the same is! Smile Lexus RX450H - 500 mile a week commuter- I just couldn’t trust in a newer RRS or DS for that….
2009 Freelander 2 HSE... 155K miles, we’ve done 135k of those, has done brilliantly on the commute and staying firmly put as car two in the household
2002 Jaguar XK8 Coupe... fun, fast, ours for 12 years and owes us nothing - so staying with us too…

Diolch Steve, read that yesterday Thumbs Up checked all that and see how we go but I'm taking to Bell Engineering anyways as 44k. Needs oil changing as per the forum expertise and NOT Landrovers lifetime oil which doesn't sit well with me even as a novice. Thumbs Up If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
