Definitely NOT one for fanatical detailers......

...however, those that utilise roll-over car wash conveyors this may be of interest.....

IMO/ARC Car Washes have launched an App (iOS and Android) that allows you unlimited access to their top wash with Autoglyms Pro-Shield programme, usually £11 a pop, for the princely sum of £19.99 a month recurring.

This gets you a pre-wash, snow foam bath, top wash, every day for £20 a month. Bargain!!

I've joined it on the basis that in the summer, every day I get bugs splattered against my bumper and windshield, and in the winter, it will kill the chassis/underbody salt damage daily (or certainly help to).

Fanatical detailers, please swerve this post..... Those that use the vehicle for its true intention and aren't bothered about swirls etc would do well to grab this deal before they inevitably pull it......by my reckoning, you only have to use it once a fortnight to break even, and thus far, I've been going through it every day just for the hell of it! No underbody mud issues for me, and come the winter, will pay for itself in terms of road salt rinse....

Good luck!! MY13 HSE Lux.......faultless since new.

Love that one... GOOD catch!

Being a (very) regular with my local Hungarians hand wash and having the three vehicles including an XK8 (prone rot box) in there weekly I’m paying mate’s rates, but that’s still much more than £20.00 a month and they don’t have the underside wash either.. That XK8 went in to one near herself’s office in London several times during the salty roads season!

There’s none near enough to me to use daily Wink but we’re both doing 25K+ miles a year so I’ll sign up and try it out while out n about... Lexus RX450H - 500 mile a week commuter- I just couldn’t trust in a newer RRS or DS for that….
2009 Freelander 2 HSE... 155K miles, we’ve done 135k of those, has done brilliantly on the commute and staying firmly put as car two in the household
2002 Jaguar XK8 Coupe... fun, fast, ours for 12 years and owes us nothing - so staying with us too…

Good deal although it would cost me more than double the £20 to get to one out here Wink

I can get a 50% discount on an IMO car wash through the AA and was all set to do just that. Then I saw the reviews and thought..........nah!

Always stayed well clear of the roadside and supermarket car wash outfits as you've no idea what they use. Much prefer the DIY route

Nearest here is at St Austell and to be honest I have never liked the look of it driving past, no idea why but, hey thats my impression.

I prefer to pay a bit more (well double give or take) a couple of times a year to my local "man" who completes a very nice valet and ceramic finish.

If he goes I am in trouble, I will have to wait for it to rain and go for a whizz down the A38 instead Rolling with laughter Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

My nearest is about 5 miles away and has received only one review - guy dropped his car in, it was returned minus both children's seats - all the non-English speaking staff denied any knowledge of the 'loss' and their guvnor said he must have been mistaken and left the seats at home, without making any effort to investigate.
Another satisfied punter
