I had an FL2 clutch replaced a few years back and it had FoMoCo stamped all over it despite coming in a LR box.

I would want something known to be better than what was fitted as OE to a 2010 FL2. Mine started slipping at 25k miles and i have lived with it until now (74K), but will need to replace the whole clutch assembly sometime this year.
Do we know what part of the assembly causes slipping at peak torque? is it the diaphragm not pushing enough on the clutch plate? or is it poor plate material?
I have been thinking to take a look on some Peugeot forums to see what they have done as mine is a Pug engine.
Nigel.

If you look at the images in the thread above you will see that in my case the clutch was hardly worn and this was really a pressure plate issue. However don't forget that the engine can develop more torque than the gearbox is rated for so that it is limited by the ECU in some situations. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
