Thank you very much for such a swift reply. After all the money I've spent on it in the last 4 months (rear wheel bearing, rear brakes and now a new transfer box) £30.00 isn't going to break me or the bank.

Am I right in thinking that the spring is in the gear knob and not under the 'white plastic bit' ? |
