Can anyone who has VPLFT0077 - single 13 pin tow electrical socket confirm with me if the diameter of the socket is the same as the black socket of the twin ‘N’ & ‘S’ socket version VPLF0105.

73mm is the magic figure I’m looking for.

I have a genuine JLR 13 pin black socket. But it is not completely round - it has 2 vertical parallel flat sides (66mm apart)- the rest is round and has a diam of 72mm. Hope that helps.

A little more research has confirmed that the mounting plates are the same so I can change from my 7 pin setup to the 12.
