Tailgate latch fails to unlock on the “doors unlock” button but when I select lock again the horn sounds as the tailgate is “partly” unlatched. Opens ok on the “boot” unlatch button. Locks ok when shut after. Fuel-filler cap locks when doors locked which confirms fuse is ok.It seems years ago when I had a similar fault, remind me, What is at fault, latch or tailgate handle switch?

Mine was exactly the same and had boot latch part replaced  If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Thank you Jules. I suspected it was the latch. It will have to wait a few weeks, have just packed the car and caravan for a week or so away. I will call Duckworths on our return to arrange a replacement on my extended warranty.

No problem but be aware that I vaguely remember that the part number changed after certain year. Dan will know anyhow. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
