Rust!

The previous owner must have had a jet ski as this tow bar plate is very rusty, and some parts of the rear have a lot of surface rust.
As can be seen the head of one of the big bolts has rusted away! Would have liked to replace plate but no idea how I would get that bolt out!
What would be best way to treat this?

I would drill the bolts out and replace the plate Thumbs Up

the plate is well gone.

Do you think I can buy the plate separate? or will I have to buy the whole tow bar kit

Hi Space you can grind the head off and punch the rest out, if the plate is that bad what is the rest like, how big a trailer you pull, what weight, might be worth changing everything.
