Why a lorry? could have been a car with trailer, unless you saw it happen! Common sense isn't very common.

Don't get me started on my pet hate! The A34 is the worst motorway for rubbish in my opinion. And it's not your average motorist who's at fault, its the trucks/lorries that are transporting waste to landfill sites. They don't cover their loads and consequently most of it flies off to litter the roadside. Highways England don't seem to care and put the blame on the local county councils, who do nothing about it. -------------------------------------------------------------

The A34 between Oxford and Newbury is also the most dangerous stretch of A road in the country per mile for fatalities, usually involving Lorry drivers, particularly foreign ones. So I can well believe your statement above |

and yet that stretch of the A34 is actually a really nice bit of road, clear, fast (70mph only of course ) nice rolling hills and some nice views. There is no reason IMO for it have so many accidents |

Well did you see it or just presuming? Never had anything fall off one of my trailers, have seen loads that do (pun intended) and I know full well how much does and how much drivers throw out of there windows, not saying that lorry's aren't responsible for a lot of rubbish especially skip/rubbish/builders wagons just don't presume that's all. Maybe losing my LGV licence soon. Common sense isn't very common. _______________________________ 2007 Land Rover Freelander2 I6 hse Auto |
