Squeak/rattle under driver seat

Been noticing a rattle/squeak beneath the driver seat over the past few months and having issues figuring out the way forward. Dealership wanted to replace the whole seat base on the grounds that it was to do with runners but they couldn't get replacements without getting in a whole base- £1k for a rattle is madness. So here I am!

It's very dependent on the position of the seat forward-backwards, but light pressure on the outside edge of the seat will replicate the noise if in the right position. When driving it's constant, but especially if leaning back/pressure on pedals. Anyone experienced a similar thing? Does feel like something isn't locking in place as jiggling the seat position will often cure it for a while but you can see a tiny bit of give against the tracks underneath if someone sits in the seat and pushes it back.

Thanks in advance.

Mine squeaks if the seat is set too high. I run mine fully back as I'm tall, but if the height is increased it causes a squeak over every twist and turn in the road.
