I don't have a screen, but want reversing cam

Hi all!

First post -- I have a Freelander 2 2009 model. Just bought it and chuffed. But I would like to install reversing cams, but I don't have a sat nav and instead just a big hole where I imagine the high end models have a screen.

What's the deal with installing a screen and reversing cam in this situation?

I fitted one, brought a kit from Ebay for £15, needed some modifications and some soldering, but about 2 hours work -

You can also remove the cubby box and retro fit a Sat Nav [or similar device] flush to the edges.
[no doubt you can now get them with reversing camera screens].

This is neat - how did you make sure the sizes were correct?

Indeed you can, Garmin are doing a wireless reverse camera kit which works along with their latest sat navs. Unfortunately I havent got one of their latest sat navs and there is nothing wrong with the older model I have (which has full Europe and North America maps - not so common a feature on new ones). If I need to upgrade in future Id def go for that kit.
