Australian GP was set to open 2021 season on March 21 but strict quarantine restrictions mean race is likely to be postponed until later in the year; Bahrain GP poised to become first race on March 28

Australian GP is boring as hell anyway - hardly any overtakes.

Apart from Monaco, they should move all the races away from tracks where overtaking possibilities are extremely limited. Steve

What is really interesting is the tie up between Ineos a major shareholder in Mercedes F1 and the UK Americas Cup challenge using Bracknel for evaluation of design parts and systems for reliability including settings for system and parts failure.This bore fruit over the weekend when a mainsail adjustment system failed and a fixed optimum setting was used and enabled the team to progress to the Challenger Cupfinal with a win on every occasion, pulling 50 knotsin 12 knots of wind is absolutely awesome.
The main Ineos product sponsor logo is the Grenadier prominent on the main sail, I wonder if Mercedes F1 is in for a name change if rumours are true the parent company wants out, after all except for some of the cash it's primary a British company. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

What happened to Lewis this weekend?

Qualified at 7th.

Starts the race on 6th due to Leclerc DNS

Then Bottas DNF moves him up to 5th

Finishes 7th

Has he got a new Lucky Number ??
