The misting of oil on that protecting rubber sleeve means you’re struts are probably stuffed. The sleeve is there to keep crap off the strut piston rod and needs to be retained or be on both sides. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

At least it looks like a replace and the problems gone,hate it when you start putting bits on and the problem is still there. |

These are not just pull off and fit. They need to be carefully aligned when putting back so when stripping mark carriers to check exactly the rebuild setup. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Yes I know Bob I wouldn’t even attempt it it would be a garage job for me just saying at least when they are done the problem has gone. |

Previous owner replaced one side but not the other looking at sticker on new one |
