iPOD and MP3 tags.

Hi All! I'm new here...

I've ordered my freeland 2 SE that here in Italy comes with premium audio pack. I
ordered as optional even the NAVSAT.
I am an iPOD addicted and would like to connect that to the stereo.
I've seen on the Alpine website that they offer different products to connect the the iPOD to the carstereo. Best solution to control the iPOD from the wheel controls and see the info about the files on the SAT NAV screen, so we can hide the iPOD somewhere. I had this solution on my last car with an aftermarket Alpine. Great!

I would like to know if anybody knows exactly what kind of Alpine electronics are in the car with the Premium Pack and if the DENSO NAVSAT is compatible.
I wanna use my 40Gb mp3 player as a monster CD changer.

There is not a real IPOD connector but it is a Jack plug. So you have to controlyour ipdo with its own buttons,

However if ask your dealer for the accesoires brochure, there is a real ipod integration kit available that enables you to control your ipod via the steering wheel and you cab see the id3 tags on you display.

good luck!!!!

I know that optional. It cost more than an iPOD and doesn't work as I say. You must mount the iPOD in a place near the steering wheel to sse on the iPOD display what you are playing.

It's a half solution for me.

Let me show wfat I understand for Alpine FullSpeed iPOD integration. You can see even the demo of the control of the iPOD directly from the pulse touch display of the IVA-W200Ri video.

If we mount an Alpine system maybe we need a special HUB but is possible to install. Anybody knows?
