Dashboard Dilemma

LR2 Gurus, I woke up this morning to a nasty surprise.

I went to bed leaving Black Beauty outside and woke up to scarface.

Any advice, or info on possible repair, or am I about to invest in a new to me dash and to attempt something way above my abilities Shocked

Look at the tips/edges of the vertical cut. That's a knife, pure and simple.

Thank you for the assistance: Thumbs Up

Yes I upset a lot of people, I have one of those jobs
Yes I locked it and it was still locked this morning
Yes they do look like cuts Censored

The idea of installing a new dash is way out of me skill set, so it looks like I will be doing bit of a Blue Peter with glue and a skin

I am going to probably glue myself tho the dash, oh well at least they will be funny pics Thumbs Up

How strange, there are companies out there that can fill in/blend damage to dash adding the texture to match existing surface.

My friend used one to fill the holes left from old hands free mount that was cut in to dash, filled in holes and blended really well

That can be repaired, just find a car trimmer. I had a dashboard repaired years ago a lot worse than that and it was invisible afterwards, you wouldn't of known it was ever damaged. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
