Stratstone Edinburgh sent me a letter last week with a booking time and date to get my car serviced . This week they phoned me but there is no danger I'm going to a dealer for servicing at the prices they charge. I had my last Freelander for nearly 5 years and never got it serviced once at a Landrover dealer, never got the book stamped, had loads of warranty work done without a problem and still got full book price when I traded it in for my FL2. |

I posted this on a thread "Service by Independent Repairers" started by MABO on the General Forum on the 10th. February 09 but it does not seem to have been noticed so am repeating it here as in my opinion it it is of the most importance.

Hi, thanks to everyone for their replies. They were really informative. TTC, talk about unfortunate! The FL2 is the wifes car, although I end up paying for it. She has her eye on the LRX as her next one in a year or two, so watch out!
