United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black
Automatic Transmission Fluid - 2014 Reg

Hi

I am planning on doing a ATF change in the near future, but I am confused as to which is the correct ATF specification, the handbook says Nippon AW-1, but as you know this brand is not available it the UK. Land Rovers own fluid part number LR022460 is an astronomical price £210 plus for 7 litres.

I have found this Aisin AFT6+ FE https://www.be.aisin-europe.com/files/1015...F6_Low.pdf which appears to be the correct one, has anyone used it? Or any other constructive recommendations welcome.

Contacted LR Customer Services who's advise was to say take it to dealer, but the dealers have given me two different part numbers, took ages to find what I believe to be the correct one.

Thanks for your help.

I’ve bought this for my 2012 Evoque after several recommendations. Not got round to changing it yet but 20 litres for £85 delivered is more than enough for a few dump and fills. Thumbs Up
