Spare bulbs

Need a set of spare bulbs for Europe (suitable pre-Brexit Rolling with laughter ) and wondered if anyone has recently bought similar? Could cobble a set together from Halfrauds but having issues with the headlight. Had one recently replaced at service and apparently it was an H4 halogen, yet Halfrauds reckon that's wrong. Am sure I'd read on here that they're to be avoided for bulbs? A complete set would be preferred, over half dozen separate packs

Think this in wrong section?

Hi Sidthecat,

Depending on the age of your freel2 should H7 & H11 if halogen.

We have various bulb kits with H7 but none with both H7 & H11
We have H11's separately as standard or upgrades

If yours is the facelift version then the halogen headlight is a HB3.

You might find this useful.... http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic30826.html

Thanks for that; HB3 is the one listed in the owners manual and yet when it was serviced a couple of weeks ago the offside had to be replaced and I've been told it was an H4 halogen. Will have to get my head under the bonnet and check it.

Thanks Roger and YB. When the car went in for service they were going to do a couple of bits free of charge; sadly the manager wasn't there on the day and so I ended up paying. In return he's agreed to let me have a set of bulbs and so I'll just wait now and see what arrives.
