Has anyone done their own oil change and what oil did you use? Stornaway grey SE auto with 18" alloys

 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

I just topped mine up with a litre of oil at the weekend, I used 5w-30 from Halfrauds as the book says, No doubt one of the clever oil types will be along to expound on the microbiologicaltechnooilyzation of oilselection, most of which will go above my head, but what I can say is my engine hasn't blown up yet  58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

Topped the FL2 up with LR dealers best. Cost was about £7-£8 for a litre. They had to look it up on the computer! Used it all, it was showing at the bottom of the dip stick, but not off it and chucked the bottle away or I'd tell you what type etc. Think it was Fomoco. The top up didn't take it to the top level, but not far off it.
