When its time to replace disk and pads can anyone recommend just going with stock make or is it worth upgrading to an after market ones if so any recommendations?

FL2 has good brakes so just replace like for like. No need to mess about.

Keep an eye on flebay etc for any off loading of genuine LR parts by main dealers or go to the likes of Andrew Page for good Mintex pads etc.

I picked up some rear genuine discs 3 weeks ago at a stonking price from a main dealer off the net Or just ask Dan at Duckworths for a bit of a deal and see what he says. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Pads at Andrew page are circa £30 per axle last time I needed them and discs will be cheaper than dealers.

Stay standard, last year I fitted grooved and drilled disks and the braking is good but feels horrible, almost like a grating sensation when you brake hard, cant wait until I wear them out and fit standard again

Aren't discs under warranty YorkieBob ? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

That means no. My old man once had a young rich customer (his dad paid the bills) burn out a set in just a few thousand miles, car was just weeks old and he was quiet upset to get a well deserved bill for being a prat. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

HMMMMMMM,seems I have had a stealer telling porkie pies on day of purchase, oh well snowed in morns morn so might get the booklet out
suppose next question will be if I go to an indy will the approved used warranty be valid as I don't think stealer will getting my business.  If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Not the Landrover approved warranty.............the Landrover MOT warranty , I seem to think it covers the brake discs.
