I agree it looks cut but how did they get in without setting the alarm off ? Was it still locked this morning ? |

Look at the tips/edges of the vertical cut. That's a knife, pure and simple. |

How strange, there are companies out there that can fill in/blend damage to dash adding the texture to match existing surface.

That can be repaired, just find a car trimmer. I had a dashboard repaired years ago a lot worse than that and it was invisible afterwards, you wouldn't of known it was ever damaged. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
