As above. I’m switching from Apple to Android with a Samsung S9. Sussed out most stuff but really missing my Applepay app. The only card I can get working on the Samsung pay/Android pay apps is my M&S credit card. I want to be able to pay contactless through either my Barclays or NatWest Visa Debit cards. Anyone doing this? They either won’t accept those cards or will accept them for online payments but not for contactless payments. There must be someone on here that pays contactless with a Visa card on an android phone. Any suggestions? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Is it not the card provider that decides what manufacturer can use the payment method? My card provider assures me someone with an iPhone is using my credit card details, where they got them from I have no idea, the last time I used it was when BA was compromised back in September. Fortunately my credit card provider (Nationwide) has an algorithm that declined payment my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I can certainly use my RBS Visa debit cards with Google Pay on my Android phone. But yes I seem to recall it can be down to individual banks if they will let you use your cards. Could be wrong though. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

We don't get charged any kind of service fee for contactless over here. Its got a limit of £30 per transaction too. Works great. I do have an RFID blocking wallet though. Just in case. The NFC on the phone is only active when the phone is unlocked. Either via pass code or thumbscanner. |

Success! I cracked it this morning when I had more time when buying the coffee's in a park café. The old dear at the counter told me how she'd seen others do it! Just opened the app, chose the card I wanted to use and touched it on the reader and bingo - job done. With the iPhone I had to hold it on the reader and touch the fingerprint reader. Bought some bread in the Co-Op on the way home too using a different card. Going to load my Oyster card on it next when it arrives - I lost it last week for the third time. Never lost a phone. Yet!
