Turbo - Whining and lack of power

Hello,

Not sure if this has been covered before but my 2007 FL2 seems to have a whining noise on acceleration from the turbo. There is also a lack of power, where I assume the boost should come, it doesn't. This is noticeable on motorways or when going up hill.

My brother has a 2008 FL2 and his is so much quicker on acceleration than mine.

Any pointers or tips would be appreciated.

Cheers

Will
