Hi I want to remove the silver trim surround from the front of the face lift grille but cant see how its attached? Do I have to remove the whole grille off the bumper?

Will do. Its not that hard, just a pain to break out the plastic welds, Once you started in one corner work your way along.

I am giving my 2010 the face lift look and want the grille to be black

The outer grey trim pulls away form the main grille after cutting welds away.

You are then left with the outer trim that holds the silver trim, the same process again cut the welds to remove the silver trim from the outer grey trim

I wanted to get that silver strip off to give it the Dynamic look, could have just sprayed it in place if I kept it all black
