Sunroof stuck at Tilt

Location:Elgin
Looked at various options , like hold the tilt button and slide for twenty seconds after fuse removal but no movement or motor engagement is apparent . Got the switch down and with the plug off no apparent voltage while ign on and switch rocker correctly connects pins on contiuity , so can anyone help further , looks like it been open a while!

The switch is unpowered, illumination is the onlt + voltage. Switch is a gnd switch.
Module is likely culprit and only way is to put it onto SDD and run it through a diagnostic procedure which will tell you the problem. MY15

Surely the switch must receive a voltage to ground a connection , that doesn't make sense . I only tested the continuity of the movement of the rocker on/ off either side and the switch works. There is no feed , so I assume ether a proximity switch is wrong or something to disallow the required command.
Does anyone know where the module for the sun roof is placed, please.

It’s quite simple really! The module is feed a “+” v (it’s between the two sun roofs in the headliner) and the switch provides 2 gnd feeds to tell the motor which way to spin fwd/backwards. MY15

I have since been told that I can gain access to the motor through the front interior light , and this can be manually screwed with a long flat blade so we will see .
I cant do this till Friday/ SAt and will post for others if it works.

Just a further note , I have had interior light fitment off before and it was a right pig to take of/on, maybe easier 2nd time around.

Bingo problem solved! Very Happy

Motor not behind front interior light but rear of double sunroof , found an access hole with a hex drive and turned this quite stiff and the front roof started to move down, went to the switch and the rest is history!
