Pages 872-3 in the LR manual (search for link to free download) cover oil cooler removal and also says remove AC compressor, throttle body and disconnect engine oil pressure sensor. Jules |

Indeed, it's easy that way. But a little more work to do, although not so difficult. You need to take the bumper off, take off the intercooler, carefully set aside the AC radiator, if you don't want to empty the AC system, drain the coolant and take off the engine cooler. Then you'll see something like this:
