Boot Light LED.

I just changed my boot light to an LED type as its brighter. I noticed it does not go out tho when I lock the car, looks a bit dimmer thats all. Does it need a resistor or something to make it go off.

Hope someone can advise.

I changed mine to an LED a few weeks ago, definitely goes out when locked. I did notice some for sale on eBay that came with resistors. I chose a bulb that didn’t from powerfuluk.
