Having just added air to all my tyres via a plug in tyre pump, I noticed the following.

My pump doesn't come on unless you hit the engine start button, but on mine all I needed to do was touch the start button and the pump started I did NOT need to turn the ignition on (ie no dashlights etc).

is this a normal function ? Got me thinking perhaps if someone had a button that is sticking, it may actually cause power drainage (maybe) 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -

Depends which socket you used, one works via the ignition and the other is a permanent. I think the front one is switched and the rear one is permanent but it could be the other way round. 2007 TD4 XS Manual in Sumatra Black
