Know what you mean but (touch wood) none have gone with me since the LR fix which is freeπ if you look through the posts there is a bulletin number to take to dealer.

At least the Ewok im replacing my FL2 with has got Xenon headlights, 100% agree that even after the LR mod under that bulletin the Halogen are still shocking |

Hi Rog, they might not help you see anything but at least they seem to last longer not helping to see anything

yeh I could never understand why the HSE Lux was the only one to have them as standard, I would have thought HSE and above to be honest.

I don't see why there seems to be a reluctance to change to LED bulbs - they are a simple retrofit and MUCH cheaper than xenons. They are also perfect for projector headlights too, with no dazzle. Cheers,

I tried LED but the projection on them was awful, unless I needed to get better LED bulbs |

The early ones were awful but there is a new generation of bulbs which places the light source exactly in the same position as the halogen filament, even with a brighter hot spot so they mimic the halogen characteristics.

But these say they are H7 and HSE Halogens are HB3,oram I totally missing something here? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Razman has a prefacelift model which has H7 bulbs. The earlier headlights are not actually that bad as they have 2 seperate bulbs for dip and main beam and both illuminate when main beam is selected. |

Actually my 2012 has H11 dips with H7 mains and is a pretty good combination - even better with LEDs though. I am pretty sure you can get HB3 or equivalents. Cheers,
