Mass Airflow Sensor & Torque Converter Solenoid faults! | |
Hello, I am new to this forum and am in need of some help.
I have a 2009 Freelander 2 2.2 Auto, with 146000 miles on the clock. I have just had the major 150k service carried out, and (I think) unrelated to this I have some worrying issues. My car has stalled in both drive & reverse a few times, then the other day I went to reverse from having just started the car, the battery light came on, there was no power to move, I then shifted back into park, gave it a few seconds, then tried reverse again and everything was fine!
I would also say that it sounds as if the car is nearly stalling when coming from driving speed up to a stop, at a junction for example, although this is not every time.
I have a decent Autel diagnostic reader which gave the following code reads:
P0744-68 Torque converter clutch solenoid - circuit intermittent
P0113-00 Intake air temparature sensor 1 - circuit high input
P0100-00 Mass or volume air flow circuit
P0380-00 Glow plug/heater circuit A
Has anyone got any advice or have any experience with these problems? I can't find much online.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

For now, just erase the errors. And read them again. The real ones will appear again.
Then drive for a few days. Read them again. And will see then, which are real and which are historical.
