lucky or unlucky with cars ?

We hear so much about problems and never hear about the lack of them.

Casting my mind back in the last 20 years, the worst things that have happened to me have been :-

2000 a puncture
2006 a puncture

Never needed a clutch or any major surgery on ANY car , just the usual service maintenance, very rarely needed brakes changing, I did have a power steering leak on my Honda Legend, but it was 16 years old at the time.

I must be Green Flags ideal customer . . . . Mr. Green

Never had a new car, always had old ones, know the basics of cars but no mechanic Bow down

Not many people would bother to post things like "my car has not gone wrong today" but many will post things like "my gearbox disintegrated today" or "my throttle body had a noise abatement order served on it yesterday".

Just think how many Freelander 2 owners are not posting because nothing has gone wrong... Very Happy

Or mine, but then again, had I started it up and driven it then things may have been completely different and I'd have to say, "something thing went wrong with my car today".
