Well seeing as no one else seems to have had this, just advising that the replacement of a cluthc master cylinder at an Indy is ~ £370. |

Looks as though you are currently the only one to comment on this issue, good of you to share the approx cost on replacement though should anyone else find they have a similar issue. Could you clarify if this solved your issue or does the problem remain? |

Will be having this master cylinder replaced tomorrow, but apparently the only way to check whether it is this is fit a new one!!! It's a cheaper option than replacing the slave cylinder , which is less likely to be the problem, I'm told . It's definitely a sticking hydraulic problem, since all linkages, springs etc I'm told are ok and free. Happy days😕😕😕😕 |

By the way, the £370 - £380 doesn't include vat !!! |

No more sticking with new master cylinder !. It seems I have the only manual FL2 that has ever done this. I'm honoured ! |

Well ~ 2000 miles later and the pedal seems to be sticking again now and again at top of travel ! |

Does the pedal vibrate when you press it gently when it is in the stuck position with the engine running. Understeer when you hit the wall with the front of the car.

No vibration. Just a bit of sticking at end of travel. Not all the time. If you move your foot away quickly don't notice it, but if you leave your foot near it , it can give a slight kick, as though there's something catching. Will have to put up with it for a while. The Indy who replace master cylinder checked the slave cylinder with an oscilloscope and no leaks seen. The clutch works fine, but I'm wondering if there is some relocation on some sort of recess up there on the pedal mechanism |

Back to my local Indy again to see what is causing pedal to stick again. Can't be the new master cylinder this time after only ~ 2000 miles. Definitely feels like a physical sticking |
