Read this and I can't see what it will do and how the figures stack up, I have no intention on spending £40 on it as I being a doubting Thomas think this is liable to be another waste of money

If it sounds too good to be true......
Just a generic "plug in" not specifically written for each individual make or model of car?
I can only imagine if it actually does provide fuel saving results that it must lean off the fuel / air mix, possibly saving fuel but affecting performance and who knows what other problems it will cause with reliability.
