The driver thought all the cars were set to Access Mode! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Police said nobody was charge , surly the truck driver was charged with careless driving at least . I’ve driven under that bridge many times and without looking at the signs a blind man could see it’s low Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Agree, he should be charged, 100%. He should've been able see the low bridge, the signs give due warning and clearance height. The bridge also looks as if it's in a dip in the road, therefore it should've looked even lower than it is. LR's are taller cars, but that would still have taken the tops of your normal euro-box saloon. He's supposed to be a 'professional driver' and quite clearly his mind wasn't 'on the job'. He was 'in control' of a mulit-ton vehicle and wasn't paying attention! He could've quite easily rear-ended a small car, knocked down pedestrians etc .... killing all involved He hasn't been charged. He should be losing his job and paying for the damage at the very least! He definitely got off lightly! FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:- Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip, Bluetooth Music Streaming Module. |
