The connector underneath the fuel filter is a water sensor. shows it in the Evoque manual and there is info on the so called electronic rear handbrake |

In 6 years I never got a definitive answer. Its probably a connection for a water sensor fitted to the Evoque but not fitted to the FL2. Jules Last edited by jules on 4th Apr 2024 3:48 pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I know of no UK FL2 that had a water sensor in the base of the fuel fiilter, that needed to be transferred over to the new replacement filter. Maybe its an export only addition for counries with less reliable fuel quality. That would make sense. Jules |

When I changed my fuel filter late last year, I noticed that plug but after looking at the underneath of the filter I just left it off.Car has been fine ever since.
