Lots of on going issues. Trade it back to a LR dealer as its got some good value against a Discovery Sport or Ewok.

Firstly the mechanic working on your car is a moron, there was a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) on the “Water in Fuel” message ages ago which covered both Freelander 2 and Evoque which is a “free of charge” fix. So all the expense you went to was a complete waste of time and money.
